How it Works

We specialize in truly personal jewelry, featuring one-of-a-kind fingerprint and photo jewelry. Each piece is truly handcrafted especially for you, so your input in the design of the piece is always welcome. Taking your fingerprint is easy and fun, and it takes less than a minute. As we tell the kids, making your impression is just like squishing playdough!

A personal printing session is included FREE in the price of your charm, and discounts are available on multiple charms done in the same session.

In Person:

If you are in the Austin area, we can meet you and take your impression(s) directly on the piece we will fire, so you can keep the actual piece your loved one made and treasure their personal touch forever. It's very quick and easy, and the impression itself takes only a second. The material is completely non-toxic and can be eaten (although we don't recommend it). Not much cooperation is required, and it's so simple it even works with fussy babies or pets. Call 512-826-1558 or email LastingImpressionsFingerprints@gmail.com to schedule your personal printing session!

Or, visit us at a local festival in Central Texas and you can make your print there; check our Contact Us page for upcoming dates.

Photo Jewelry:

If you are ordering photo jewelry, please email your file to LastingImpressionsFingerprints@gmail.com. If possible, please scan or save at 300 dpi- the higher the resolution, the better your jewelry will look. Please include the name you used on your order and shipping address in your email.

Feel free to email with any questions, and we'll help you get started on your custom jewelry!

By Mail:

Don't let miles keep you from treasuring your loved one's touch forever! Our printing kits have gone as far as Afghanistan and back to make prints of brave men and women serving there! We will send you a moulding kit with easy to folllow instructions. It's so easy, it even works with infants and animals! You knead the non-toxic moulding material, press your finger (or whatever you are moulding) into the compound, set it aside and let it sit for 30 minutes.  The resulting mould is like pliable plastic and is virtually indestructable once it has set (after half an hour). Then just mail it back, then look for your one-of-a-kind piece in the mail about two weeks later. It's that easy!
